Our Founder
Mt. Telos Consultants is a financial consulting and education company dedicated to helping young adults build strong financial foundations.
Founded by Caden Black, a Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ out of Whitehouse, TX.
He founded this company to address the financial literacy gap that has become all too common in recent generations. Current economists and sociologists believe that the next generation will be worse off than their parents. It is the goal of this organization to ensure that is not a reality that comes to pass.
We deliver relatable, actionable financial education tailored for young adults, specializing in breaking down complex topics into simple, practical habits that foster long term financial confidence. Our focus is on empowering individuals to take control of their finances, develop meaningful money habits, and gain the security and confidence needed to thrive.

What is the free introductory call?
The free call is a short, no-pressure conversation where we learn about your situation, answer questions, and help you decide what type of support makes the most sense. There’s no obligation to book anything afterward.
Who is this coaching for?
Our coaching is designed for teens and young adults (roughly ages 15–25) who want clear, practical help with money — without jargon, judgment, or sales pressure.
What can I use a call for?
You can use your call for budgeting, saving, credit cards, debt questions, investing basics, planning for big expenses, small business finances, or general money questions. Your focus can change from call to call.
Is this financial advice or investment management?
No. All sessions are educational and coaching-based. We do not manage money, give personalized investment advice, or make decisions for you. The goal is to help you understand your options and make confident choices.
Do I need to prepare anything before my call?
You'll get a pre-meeting form to fill out prior to every meeting. This is a way for us to track your progress and overall identify your needs quickly so we can spend less time finding problems and more time finding solutions.
Do I have to commit long-term?
No. There are no long-term contracts. Book at your own convenience!
Can I change my focus from one call to the next?
Yes. Every call is flexible. One month might be budgeting, the next might be credit or saving — it’s based on what matters most to you right now.
How long are the calls?
Most calls are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted. We keep things focused, practical, and paced so you leave with clarity and next steps.
What if I’m brand new to managing money?
That’s completely okay — and very common. We specialize in working with people who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start.
What if I’m not sure which option to book?
